5 years ago out of jail, out on bail, hell yeah i was in that cell, swear that it was hell there i was in the county with baby blue beside me i know jesus saves, but i need this page to roll the sage and maybe he’ll reside within me, you feel me? to tell the truth, i felt stuck in my ways living off adrenaline, running, robbing, fighting, and dealing you call it i’ve probably done it stumbling home, parents knew death was coming “you keep taking these chances son, i’m not sure if you’re brave or brainless” my older brother got shot 5 days later he never came back no matter how hard i cried no matter how hard i wanted to slide something had to change i went to school the next day and never skipped a day since so next time you look into my eyes you have a glimpse into my life
