#platoniculespiritweek Fitting this spirit week ends on the main day of diwali as here’s some projects that have LIT up my ears: Gentlewoman - Cleo Sol : It might be her most recent album yes but this started my obsession with Cleo, went through the rest of the catalogue, can’t go a day without listening to her. What a gem she is. Angelic. Sweet Fortune - Ryan Beatty: A straight English / Indian guy being hooked by the sound of a white gay American man?! sounds bizarre but honestly white lightning and too many ways are two of the best songs I’ve heard this year. Self titled - Lianne La Havas: The album might be over 6 years old but that doesn’t discount its brilliance, lovely listen and wonderful voice. Cleo Sol adjacent which is NEVER a bad thing! Honourable mentions: The time of our lives - Lancey Foux Emotional junglist - Nia Archives Goldenboy - Len pre life (ep) - deathtoricky Shoutout the peeps behind this spirit week, class peeps with some class prompts 😁😁😁😁
