i had brunch with my new uni friends today and oh em gee i had such a great time!!! it was really my ideal day: talking for hours nonstop and eating good food <3 it was supposed to be a study date and we did study too but maybe only a hour and a half out of the six hours we hung out oops

I hope everyone had a lovely Saturday! my day wasn’t half bad, actually; yesterday I wanted to crash out by the time I left work but today was very slow and boring. we had to shut everything down for about four hours due to storms and lightning, so it was pretty chill for the rest of the day. i picked up a day of overtime for Monday bc we’re only getting paid tomorrow and the fourth during our shutdown, so anything more helps. I’m gonna be so tired by Monday night bc all I’ve done is work 😩😴 i love making money but it’s exhausting sometimes anyway, goodnight, all you lovely people. I’ve been on a Luther Vandross kick recently, so enjoy one of my favorite songs of his with one of the catchiest hooks I’ve ever heard. i just really love old school R&B and soul music; maybe that’s because I just love love but i love that type of music
