this album is really good. it’s extremely heavy, but very powerful, discusses a lot of prominent topics at the moment especially with the way of the world and the rising male violence that society seems to have no way of really talking about !!!! interweaving sounds from interviews and spoken word, vocalist Zantingh, really gets her point across in such a suffocating stance, but in a way were it leave you a tiny spot to think about. because for me these points of sexual abuse and talks on modern day feminism, shouldn’t be comfortable, you shouldn’t be able to just move on with your day without thinking of it again, they should live with you like the way these despicable acts against women live with them. sonically it’s equally as crushing, instrumentation is perfect, it’s chaotic and proactive in all the right ways. I know it won’t be a sound for everyone, but I think it’s defo worth a checking out
