I’m usually of the mind that Hall & Oates is better as a “singles band,” but the one album I love all the way through is their second album, 1973’s Abandoned Luncheonette. They were signed to Atlantic, before they went to RCA, so you can’t get any of the songs from this period on a greatest hits album, at least altogether on streaming, but this has some of my favorite songs from them, including this one.

happy Monday, y’all!!!!! guess who has two thumbs and made it through the day and has the next week off???? this guy 👍😎👍 i was counting the hours until i could leave, but i’ve had a pretty chill night so far! i went to Walmart and got a couple things, then i got a sweet treat at Burger King bc i wasn’t too hungry and then I went to the local Goodwill that’s on the way home and y’all… i found some really cool stuff. i LOVE thrifting, mainly for physical media, and I found some stuff i wanted!!! i got two movies i’ve wanted for awhile, plus found a couple classic 90s albums on CD, and i found some vintage Sesame Street records!!! i love Jim Henson and the Muppets, so i was hyped to find these. they were both in really good condition, so i can’t wait to spin them anyway this Craig David song describes how I feel bc it’s time to party bc today was my Friday (and I get paid in two days) goodnight everyone and i can’t wait to sleep in tomorrow!!!

I picked this album up awhile ago but I’ve been in the mood to listen to it again, and these guys are such an underrated late 80s and early 90s hair metal band. Their vocalist and guitarist are criminally underrated, but their first two albums are insanely good
