I forgot to do this yesterday so I will today. 50 years ago, yesterday along with my Dads birth came the release of Pink Floyd’s “Meddle”, a truly fantastic album filled with classics that fortold their new era future of greatness! had an absolute nightmare at work today lads was having a convo with two of the people i sit near - we ask each other ‘would you rather’ questions and stuff like that - one of them asks ‘how many 10 year olds could you fight at once’ so we’re debating that question and it comes to this point: me - i don’t even know how big a 10 year old is these days girl - my brother is 11 and he’s up to hear on me *gestures to just below her shoulder* me - how many clones of your brother do you think you could take on in a fight then? her - he’s disabled so quite a few probably all i could do was say ‘i’m so sorry’ whilst the other lad found it hilarious. she thought it was a little funny too and was fine with what i said as i obviously didn’t know about her brother but christ i wanted to world to swallow me up in that instant. i’ll be thinking of this for the rest of my life
