craziest breakdown. I have admittedly had an incredibly rough week and a half. I’m going to a counselling session tomorrow and ngl this is long overdue. I am not happy with what I am doing and I am just waiting for the day I can bin off academia. I don’t know how I keep convincing myself that I could be happy pursuing a job that is so removed from the joys of life. this degree is not worth my misery it is not worth it but it pisses me off still how I know I’m capable of getting it but just can’t manage it right now. I’m going to stick it out and I will get my degree I know I will I am going to be so angry if I don’t. but I hate this I hate it. I just want to be happy and calm and proud of what I achieve without feeling so shit and depressed in the process and run up. being this torn up isn’t normal and isn’t healthy but it pisses me off that things don’t let up without being detrimental and worsening your state somehow.
