I had my appt this morning to go over my MRI results: my doctor is gonna hook me up with a physical therapist & thinks I can go back to work at the beginning of August! she reassured me that no surgery is needed, bc the injury isn’t as severe as I thought. while I’m not excited to be back at a place that drains me, interacting with some of the worst people society has to offer, I AM anticipating the sense of normalcy, & most of all, making money (I’ve been on disability pay thankfully, but it only pays 70% of what I’d normally be making). also I’ve decided I’m still going on my VA beach trip next month with my friends. idk where I’ll be in the healing process by mid August, so idk if I’ll be able to swim or do everything I want to, but I do know that after the hell I’ve endured, & my summer basically being robbed from me, I 100% deserve this trip. I’ll be able to enjoy it more than I did MA at least.
