Recently, my parents decided they wanted to go across the border from Canada 🇨🇦on a day trip to the US. 🇺🇸 It was on a day I was scheduled to work. On the day of the trip, I called work in the morning saying that I was not feeling well. Instead of going to work, I got to go visit Mount Baker, Trader Joes, Costco and Texas Roadhouse. It was great seeing Mount Baker again and walking the trails. It was my first time at Trader Joes and my family got noodles, BBQ chips, peanut butter pretzels and other things. For dinner me and my family dined at Texas Roadhouse for the first time. I ordered the prime rib with caesar salad & loaded baked potato. The food was really good. Also, I had a feeling which supervisor from work I would be talking with on the phone in the morning. I had a feeling she knew I wasn’t actually sick. Not a big deal, as I haven’t called in sick in a long time. I am pretty sure the last time I did that I was also not sick. 😂
