i feel like i put myself into really stressful situations because i like to be challenged and i like being that person who does it all. and now i feel like i can’t let go of anything because i have this idea of me doing all the things i want to do, and i don’t want to give that up.

Jack Harlow - Come Home the Kids Miss You review I’m going to challenge myself in reviews where I don’t like the album to ask questions to the artist: Where’s the passion? I haven’t been the biggest fan of Mr. Harlow as an artist but I will say that in his previous work there was a sense of excitement in his craft. A person could hear him figuring out who he was in the game. There was a pai passion for the art. None of that is present in this album. It feels empty. Where’s the effort? And to echo the past answer to go even further….. I’m not going to say he’s a bad rapper (because he has talent) but all of the potential that he had in the past practically disappeared here. There isn’t a sense of who he is and all of that gets lost in the “vibes” of the album. Is that all that you want you be known for is a vibe or do you want you be known for your artistry? The title of the album is fitting b/c if this is his trajectory then the potential of Jack Harlow will be missed.
