It’s my ex’s birthday today. been speaking a little again lately, after I went to Portugal, I even stopped by his aunt’s house in Marseille, where she cooked for me like nothing had changed. I’m still in the family group chat, still so close with his mom that we ft every Sunday, and today she sent me photos of everyone together celebrating, saying they wished I was there. hit me hard. dw I don’t suddenly forgive everything, or think we’re magically finding our way back now, but distance complicated things so much, especially on days like this I wonder without it, how things would have been
