cat update!!! so Comet seemed better yesterday afternoon but today was just not eating/drinking so i reluctantly took him to a different vet that took walk ins on weekends. we waited to be seen for a little over an hour, got X-rays that confirmed it wasn’t his jaw that was hurt, then I ultimately decided and felt safe enough to leave him there so they could put him under and look at his teeth. turns out he has somehow broken one of his k-9’s which was causing him all that pain, and got many others removed as well. they took another X-ray while he was under and it turns out his roots are attacking the actual teeth which is what has been causing all of this. he’s always had bad teeth- no matter how much I brush them we always have to get a few pulled every few years and this explains why!! the vet wanted to monitor him overnight free of charge so sadly he’s still there but doing much better!! I can’t wait to get him home tomorrow ❤️
