I been as close to Robert Johnson’s crossroads as I could reasonably go been to the Dockery Plantation area (Sunflower County, Mississippi) where Charley Patton moved with his family in 1897 even been to West Point, Mississippi near where Howlin’ Wolf was born (White Station, MS) playing with Pinetop Perkins at Antone’s in Austin connected me to Muddy Waters who connected me to Henry “Son” Sims who connected me to Charley Patton Robert Johnson and Howlin’ Wolf, like Patton, also lived and performed in the area around Dockery Plantation (between Ruleville, MS and Cleveland, MS)
