went to Big Sur on Saturday and it was beautiful as usual. I saw shooting starts for the first time!! what was crazy and very unfortunate though is that while we were at a restaurant (that kind of overlooks the forest and beach) someone spotted the start of the timber fire that is still going on 🥲. the restaurant had called emergency asap and we assumed it was handled by sunday but I guess the firefighters could not locate it for a while :(( I really hope they are able to get it under control 🙏
