Music to move to, have fun to, dance like no one is watching. This album is full of these party bangers, with catchy hooks that will fully ingrain in your brain, and exciting repetitive bass lines that are impossible not to enjoy. Not taking itself too seriously can be a big positive in music and I think this record excels at it, this isn’t groundbreaking music that pioneers a new wave, it takes from many walks of music already set in stone and creates this short but exciting project. The musical reach of the album does extend a fair bit, obviously mainly centring around that house / garage sound, but also touches on dub in songs like ‘I Like It Like That’ or ‘TTYGF’, and then also a slight twang of trip hop in songs like ‘Butterflies’ or ‘Lonely’ can be heard.
