jessie reyez was the supporting act for the billie eilish show i went to last year and i will forever remember her explaining how her manager when she was getting fame would say she needs to ‘tie her hair up’ etc if she wants to become a star and ever since then i am SICK to my stomach whenever i listened to this song. i never knew the meaning of the lyrics until she said it and it makes me feel so sad when i remember😣 was such a surreal experience tho i remember discovering her with my bff when coffin came out and recording it for her when she played it live
