if someone calls themselves a cinephile but i go onto their letterboxd and their graph shows they only ever rate movies from 1/2-3 stars i genuinely dont bother listening to them. how do you love movies if you havent actually even expressed love for one? why r u so afraid of the 4 or 5 star rating ????? 3 star i understand because its like smack bang in the middle but if you’ve watched like 1.5k films or more i find it crazy if youve only ever rated like 10 movies a 4 or a 5 ….
