hii!! election day is this sunday here 🇧🇷 as a future healthcare professional, a woman, a student, and above all, a brazilian, i wanted to talk about one of the things i love most about my country: the SUS!!! it’s our universal public healthcare system, providing free care for everyone, from vaccines and primary care to emergency services, surgeries, mental health care, organ transplants, and SO much more. a healthcare system that’s literally admired around the world and yet some politicians don’t seem to care much about protecting it (i’m sure you know who i mean)… anyway, just a little election-week reminder to stay informed, do your research, and think carefully about who you’re trusting with your vote 💚
