tryna connect to my chinese heritage and remembered that growing up my parents played a lot of wong fei, and this song in particular, esp the cantonese version, is v nostalgic. and the emotion she sings with… her songs make me feel so much. and my fave part of this song, if i were to translate it, is “after the burning passion all that’s left is ashes”
