There’s something special about Killers love songs. Flowers doesn’t shy away from the challenges love can face. Love is a battle sometimes. Maybe it’s between each other or the battle within your self. But true love is something worth fighting for. I’ll never get over the rising in anticipation throughout the song and the final release at the end. It sends me every time. To me, the whole purpose of the building is to replicate “the coveted touch of a girl in love.” That touch is an explosion.
