Do you know how often I think about Daft Punk? Not a night goes by where I don’t have a cry about it. Today is a particularly bad night, I just feel defeated. On the surface, I seem fine. Because I enjoy Daniel Caesar, dare I say I sonically enjoy him more than Daft Punk. But Daft Punks retirement is more than just music. It changes your whole perspective on life. Lessons regarding loyalty, on success. You can stop any time, despite prospering, changing someone’s life. And that is a scary thought. Is it all for nothing? Is it time to become more independent? Not rely on anyone?
