Been taking a much much needed social media break. It鈥檚 still ongoing but wanted to pop in and share with you guys this song. I鈥檝e really been enjoying it. I鈥檝e been in major hermit mode. Felt I had lost myself these past months. I feel good in this state. Being alone. It also happened last summer. I got to know myself. Solo travelled a bit. Turns out, I like who I am when I鈥檓 alone and really enjoy my own company. I haven鈥檛 had any temptation to go back yet, I鈥檓 not quite ready. I do feel an internal struggle though when it comes to maintaining my friendships. I鈥檝e been working on growing my social life for a couple of years now but find it hard to find a healthy balance between feeling desperate for interaction and not having any interest at all in other people. I go back and forth. But I鈥檓 working on it! I don鈥檛 think this is negative. The social world can be so loud, it鈥檚 easy to lose yourself. Every once in a while it鈥檚 necessary to reconnect with oneself.

Christmas in two weeks, haven鈥檛 bought any gifts yet 馃槹 but working with kids makes the holidays such a blast (even though its the toughest time of year) 馃巹馃コ

I鈥檓 writing a research essay for uni that I鈥檝e had MONTHS to write and have to turn in on monday. For the first draft turn-in (a month ago), I turned in a barely half finished essay so the teacher couldn鈥檛 even give me proper feedback 馃ゴ My time management skills have dissapeared and my procrastination skills have been THRIVING this semester 馃槄 looks like I鈥檒l be moving into the library this weekend 馃暫 It鈥檚 such a short essay too, only like 3 pages 馃槴 essays just take me literally forever to do 馃檭
