Happy Christmas Eve Eve!! Today I pretty much did nothing but rot in bed or on my couch because even though I very much love all my friends, yesterday I had so much social interaction that I feel I don’t need to talk to anyone for the next month!! Also spent some moments crying and some overthinking but that’s nothing new <3 I hope everyone has very joyful Christmas celebrations full of love!!

Happy Friday! Had a research meeting that went pretty well this morning then had a zoom call for class about compression garments and mastectomies! #slay After I took my besties to visit the suite and gave them the tour and met a few of my profs!! Lolla day two was good!! I saw tiny habits and they were so good!! Can’t wait for them to blow up because they deserve it! I met up with my girl Rio and we just sat and chilled for a little talking which was so nice! Laufey with the CSO was absolutely amazing and made Rio a fan so that’s a win! Laufey is just a sweet soul I love her! Rio and I headed over to see SZA to end the night! I don’t think I’ve ever been more surrounded by people but it was still good! Don’t think I’ve could have done it without Rio though! Grateful for her friendship and figuring out how similar we really are! Sky’s mom and sister are now here too so it’s a party! Overall a gorgeous day and very happy to have spent it with friends!!

Saw Jeremy and Chelsea this evening with Kenzie and it was so fun!! Their music just feels like a hug and it was such a chill night of them just playing with a band!! Great way to round off my concerts for this year! This morning we did evals and impressions for our one and only transhumeral project which went well! I love my patient model! I had good convos with Dan about residencies (and religion!) and then played some trivia with classmates for our second class this afternoon. Our team was yapping more than working on the trivia questions but we still slayed at trivia so it’s great (see pic)!! We also talked about religion and family relationships LOLL. We had a ULO quiz this afternoon which I slayed so overall a terrific day!! Praise God!

currently on hour 4 of 7 of my layover at the seattle airport. I’m kinda losing my mind and very tired despite it now being only 2:30 here!! stupid time zones screwing me up! anyway I can’t wait to leave on another plane to get to anchorage and truly just be in the mountains for 2 weeks :)

everyone please comment what your favorite recess activity was growing up because this is important information!! I was a monkey bars kid but also LOVED playing tag and all its variations! Don’t know why though because I hate running!! Today was good!! I went for a long bike ride and then a walk because I needed to be outside like my mind wasn’t functioning to do work today but also it was so freaking hot and humid so that wasn’t great but we still love the outdoors!! I’m currently watching my uncles cats again and there’s this crazy storm outside so Trinity had to stop here because she couldn’t see on her way home from all the flooding and whatnot and this was a close stop so PTL that she made it here safely!! Anyway feeling lots of feelings and very confused and overwhelmed at the moment!!

So very happy the weekend is finally near! Idk but this week has just felt like forever! Just gotta make it through the work day tomorrow! Took a cast for a transtibial prosthesis and then a couple adjustments so nothing too interesting at work today! Was very hot and humid today but still spent some hours in the sun with Annie who is just the cutest ever!

Happy Tuesday!! Had another great clinical rotation that entailed seeing many patients in the morning and like none in the afternoon but that’s okay! I got to see a shoulder disarticulation and helped set up the myoelectric prosthesis so that was very cool! Also had some good conversations with the two residents in the afternoon so that was great too!! Honestly I’m sad I won’t be going to this site anymore in the near future but very grateful for the experience! Also need to shoutout how the music they had at the clinic was fabulous so we love jamming throughout the day!! This evening was really chill as I basically did nothing!! I talked to my family for a few minutes and then watched a couple more episodes of the office with Kenz and that’s about it!! I have another long day tomorrow but I’m excited for it!
