Puretone is one of my favourite electronica artists. This song is one of their more underated songs. I love the use of scratching, Sometimes i think that scratching can be a bit tacky but in this song it’s really well done. The drums are slow but effective and it’s all tied together with some really cool synths. Towards the end there is a breif guitar solo. I think that this adds another element to the song. The whole stuck in a grove album is really well written and tells a really nice story. The album is about a love for electronica and the way a good electronica song can make you feel. This whole album almost has a dark tone to it and it’s all very intense. It reminds me of the Darwin days (like every other song on the earth) mum used to play it in the car, in the house litterally everywhere. I think that’s why I’m so weird now because of all of the weird music my mum used to listen to. Anyway i think everyone should listen to the whole album at least once in their life.
