Sparks album 18: Balls. Sparks have been listening to The Prodigy. Very much their techno pop album, but there’s also time for a great electronic ballad too called How To Get Your Ass Kicked. Another underrated Sparks album. But the next one… #SparksEveryDay

It’s probably a bit uncool to post a Wet Leg song now, but I’m genuinely shocked at the lack of Wet Leg on BopDrop. I thought this app would be all about Wet Leg. It isn’t. It’s all 15 year olds into The Sundays and Fleetwood Mac. Why are young people so old?

This isn’t quite Sparks album 23. It’s rock supergroup FFS featuring Sparks and Franz Ferdinand. Ron wrote almost all the songs including the first song the new band worked on called Collaborations Don’t Work. It’s up there with Sparks’s very best work and I insist you hear it. Such a great high energy to every track. You can clearly hear how big an influence Sparks have been on Franz Ferdinand. The first song that FF ever played live was Atchoo by Sparks. That song was also played by FFS on their only tour. What a blast it was seeing Franz Ferdinand doing This Town Ain’t Big Enough For Both Of Us and Sparks doing Take Me Out. God, that was a good tour. This album is EXCELLENT! #SparksEveryDay

Iron Maiden’s self-titled debut album is the first album I ever bought. I still listen to it regularly. Why wouldn’t I? It’s a classic. I’m very much loving IM right now, so think I’ll go through all their albums here on BopDrop. I love every track on this album, but today my favourite is Phantom of The Opera. That’ll change tomorrow. #IronMaidenEveryDay

Chew Lips should have been bigger. You should have bought their records. You’re an idiot.

Not sure I’ve posted a Ween song on here before. Which is insane, they’re superb. Everybody knows this song, but it’s worth hearing anytime.

Iron Maiden’s 17th album, Senjutsu. This album came out last year, 41 years after their first album, and it’s one of the best things they’ve ever done. Huge epic pieces and jump up and down rockers. It’s the band doing exactly what they’re best at. They’re touring Senjutsu properly next year and I’ve got my ticket! HOORAY!! #IronMaidenEveryDay

Hi there. It’s 10:20am and I am sober. Therefore, I’m listening to this excellent song by this excellent band. But I’m going to the pub later. Let’s see what song I drunk-post this evening.
