Quite possibly my favorite Iron Maiden song of all time. Bruce Dickinson gets all the credit for singing on so many great Maiden albums, but those first two albums with Paul Di’Anno are just sooooo good. Dickinson brought the power and the dark fantasy element to the band, but Di’Anno brought a gritty, dirty sound that helped make Iron Maiden my favorite metal band of all time. Phantom of Opera is a perfect song.

Iron Maiden’s self-titled debut album is the first album I ever bought. I still listen to it regularly. Why wouldn’t I? It’s a classic. I’m very much loving IM right now, so think I’ll go through all their albums here on BopDrop. I love every track on this album, but today my favourite is Phantom of The Opera. That’ll change tomorrow. #IronMaidenEveryDay
