Today we have a wonderful song that’s perfect for a movie scene where they are leaving the country and going solo backpacking off in other areas to find themselves. They could be leaving due to a breakup, a death in the family, or the realization that the boring 9-5 job isn’t what they wanted to do. And so they set off, and this would be the song you’d hear.
Appropriately, this is what Maggie Rogers did. She left, went to Alaska, hiking in the mountains, and then this masterpiece was produced.
I sincerely apologize for being MIA the past few days. It has been a busy few days where I completely forgot to take a breather and dial down.

Happy Sunday! Hope everyone has and is taking today to relax and feel rejuvenated. After going upbeat and summer vibes the past two weeks, I wanted to tone it down a bit and be more sentiment and mellow.
