my mom and dad were emptying my grandpa’s home and I got a gorgeous lamp and all his cameras. It really hit me that soon they will sell his apartment and I will never visit it again. It also felt weird to see my grandma’s photo on his nightstand and realize that they are now both gone. It’s sad to think that part of my ancestry is gone
