I’m so bored at work I’m having a staring contest with the Jack o lantern in the window across the street. I think I’m gonna win this

Day 18: oops I missed yesterday. Oh well One of my all time favorite comedies for film and television. M*A*S*H, set during the Korean War follows a group of US army doctors and their shenanigans while also undergoing intense medical procedures under fire. 5/5 I fell in love with the show and have watched every episode, then a few years later I watched the movie and fell in love with that too! I’ve even read the book it’s based off of. Bopdrop doesn’t give me enough characters to write just how much I love this whole series. When I traveled to California last year I even made it a mission of mine to do the hike in Malibu to the original film set, it was a dream to be able to stand on those grounds. The song was created for the film and then adapted without lyrics for the show. It’s a beautiful somber piece that is so deep and fits so well with the themes

Day 6: I recently just rewatched the film “I, Tanya” the other day while on vacation and was surprised to still find how well it holds up. For a film that is easily inspired by the direction and edit of a Scorsese’s movie making what I like to call, “Goodfellas on Ice”, this one at least attempts to create a well rounded film rather than nearly remake plot points like other copy cat films (‘cough’ Joker ‘cough’). The film follows the true story of US figure skating icon Tanya Harding and the breaking news worthy story of her vicious competive activities. The actual story is kinda boring but it was the acting performances of Margot Robbie, Sebastian Stan and Julianne Nicholson that really tied the film together. That along with an impressive soundtrack and quick stylistic edits make it a great film. Right now I have it as 4.5/5 The opening song by Cliff Richard is a personal fav so I was glad to see it used in a Hollywood film. Such a cool, eery song with a seductive vibe.
