My mom just had a baby, baby number 4 and at 22 I feel like I’m also chained to staying longer with my family even though I know these aren’t my kids. it feels wrong to leave and not be there as they grow and develop. people tell me I gotta make my own life but I physically can’t bring myself to do that. I’m not sure if it’s all the Christian expectation to stay till I get married or the engrained desire to please my parents but this fear of not pleasing my parents is gonna be the death of me.
