Today is the 3 year anniversary since I went no contact w my mom, ofc she abused me my entire life but she really sealed the deal by ruining my first Mother’s Day as a mom being absolutely atrocious to me thru text. As much as I miss her being in my life from time to time, & my heart breaks that she hasn’t gotten to watch her grandson grow, every day I think of a reason why I can’t let her back in for a long time, for Liam’s sake & especially w my sister clearly still being under her influence (not to mention her STILL being married to my abusive pedo stepdad). BUT that being said I have my own family & life now, I’m taking a lil beach trip this weekend w Liam, his dad, his grandma, & my grandma & dad. Really hoping my dad acts right, he’s lucky I’m letting him come. He’s the next to be no contact, but let’s bffr when I lived in WV I barely ever talked to him. I deserved better growing up but now all I can do is BE better, for MY child.
