my Chinese yesterday was ruined by my disdain for mushrooms, there’s one thing I cannot stand in this world and it’s mushrooms , they are squishy, slimy, and taste bad, I have never liked them and I never will, there is no other food that comes close to how much I dont like mushrooms. so imagine you’re starving, you’ve got a lovely takeaway, everything is right in the world, you’re diggin in and then you get a whole big ass mushroom in your mouth. THE HORROR! it immediately ruins the meal, because now I can’t just enjoy the meal, I’m on constant lookout for more of the devil spawn, every time I get some food I have to inspect that I’m not exerting myself to pure disgust, I’m on high alert now and that’s not what you want when having a meal. so there it is, there’s the story of how mushrooms RUINED my night. I was also watching the bluerose cut of Twin Peaks film on Internet Archive and it got taken down when I was 2 hours in, so that also ruined the night
