saw a tiktok abt ppl w/ dementia then i scan thru the comments, most of them said their loved ones may forget them, but never the songs/ artists they admired. lol idk why i was relating to it but while i was working on my backlogs, this song came on. I just find myself singing along w/ the lyrics before that eureka moment hit me: COLLIDE!!! idk maybe bc my friends used to point out that some days when we do recalls, i’d be the one to retrieve most of the memories but then there was a time when everyone seemed familiar and i had no memory at all. they were deadass laughing cos how was that possible. honestly, i think the reason why this song is engraved in my brain bc my sister used to play this a lot when i was a kid, she’d play it on her guitar… and yeahhh hearing this song again today hits just like the first time
