Had such a good Saturday!! Spent the morning tidying up my room and then this afternoon I went out to the roomies to the Belmont Sheffield music festival which was so fun!! Love live music and seeing fun vendors and smelling festival food!! Once we got back I went out biking while Sky was running and even though it was such a slow pace for me it was so fun!! Really good to just slow down as take in the beautiful life I live with beautiful people and in this beautiful city! And chill worship sessions are so so great!! Sky and I got back and watched Shark Tale with some popcorn and cake but we had a brief interruption! That interruption was the navy pier fireworks which we can see from our window so it was so lovely!! Like this life I live is so so wonderful I’m so blessed!! Shoutout to God for real!! And now Sky is practicing her ukulele which is so fun! A so good so fun day!! <3

faith’s self titled is an album i never listened to before because i never thought much about her tbh but my girl said it’s one of her all time favorite projects so i listened to it yday and her cover of this was so good it made me look into other covers of the song and i just can’t believe how versatile and complex black women are like we are truly vessels for some seriously life changing art i can’t believe all the ways we exist and take shape in the world it was so dizzying to listen to these 3 songs back to back
