A bittersweet sound, that invokes this mystical feeling as the story lets loose and each track builds upon another. There’s not an overwhelming amount of sounds going on in this, but the minimalism works well with the subtle ethereal vocals, the steady strum of the strings and the delicacy of the drums, all paving the way for this folk fused psychedelia. There is the occasional flare up in songs like ‘Embers’ or ‘Shadow of You Appears’, that are more forward and energetic in its posture, dipping in and out of this fragile ambience they’ve set up throughout. I liked the occasional appearance of backing vocals, the deeper tones collocates the usual sweet voice perfectly, adding to the puzzle and almost creating this guiding hand through the albums world.
