new favorite yt channel alert 🚨: heds (hedsdotworld) has this series called carRadio where artists/djs play a live set from the backseat of a car while they drive around. such a cool concept. currently listening to majid jordan’s set. need them to escape the depths of the ovo sweatshop, its long overdue imo 😔

what’s the point. that’s the thought that constantly looms around my head, the question of my life. without a goal or something to move forward to there is no drive, everyday merges together, the happiness I get through going to a gig or hanging out with a friend is a brief and fleeting moment, it doesn’t provide enough validation to sustain any long term happiness. Just seems like I’m living day by day, but for what? why move forward? the monotony of life is such a drag where anything I find joy in is eventually trampled by thoughts of loneliness or self loathing. I’ve fallen into a cycle of self deprication that is hard to break out of, I can’t find anytime to work on myself because I lack the energy to care. I just repeat moments where I’ve been stupid and ruined things for myself by not thinking straight, it’s like I want someone to blame but I only blame myself?

bopdropians I fear I played my cards so badly. I can never tell when people are flirting to me vs. just being nice but we had the cutest uber driver in San Diego and I felt like we were really hitting off but in my head I’m like I’m sure that’s just part of the job. then we get out of the car and my friends are all like YOU SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN HIS NUMBER so they saw it too it wasn’t all in my head. I should have shot my shot and then I could just stay here and be a cali girl full time.
