what albums do you think are genuinely modern classics. Maybe not just a project you enjoy, but a genuine masterpiece that will be held as an iconic piece by almost all that listen to it. These are three albums that come to mind for me: - Heavy Metal by Cameron Winter - I don’t think I can talk any more about how special this piece of art is, a breathtakingly beautiful album that hits home in so many ways, but also shows such amazing talent from Mr Winter - Imaginal Disc by Magdalena Bay - I don’t think there’s been much albums better than this from when it dropped. the progression in this is unbelievable and the passion is infectious, this is one of the best synth pop albums EVER - Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You by Big Thief - I think every piece of music Big Thief or Adrianne Lenker have released is generational, but this album is spectacular, can’t be more well crafted and has some of the best songwriting ever on it
