Recently went through a delusional crush phase (again) and this describes perfectly that feeling of trying to sober up from the love high metaphorically or literally. Sitting all day accepting it’s not what you drew in your head, “spending all day wishing the day was over”, knowing you should be “over it” but the tail end of the feelings are still there. The trying to get your feelings to cooperate with your brain. and just trying to find the energy to just move past it or do ANYTHING. It’s a rough and not talked about timeframe in terms of relationship trauma cycle but I feel Lola does a spectacular job of explaining it without sounding to emo but still vulnerable
