12.10.26 After twenty five years I think I can safely assume that yes, I am indeed a sensitive soul who is still learning how to hold herself with sensitivity. It doesn’t take a lot for me to fall into a hermit mode when everything in the world feels like too much, and dealing with that depression when it comes is no joke. Fortunately after periods like that, the days where I dare to step back into my life again, they always return. I’m glad to get to enjoy my favourite time of year with a mind and heart able to notice both grief and joy, and trying my best to not let them cancel each other out, but to let them coexist.
