I’ll never forget when I was 16 and went to visit my grandpa at his new place in NC; I hadn’t seen him in a few years so my dad was bragging ab how young I was yet I already had a love of classic rock, just like him & my grandpa, so my grandpa proceeded to put on some songs and have me guess who sung them w/o looking. And I remember how impressed he was when I got them all right :)) One of the songs he had put on was from Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac, and before he played it he said “you’ll never guess who this is” and it did take me a min but then I realized it was old Fleetwood, n I’ve never seen him so blown away 😭 Anyway September 15th will be four years since he passed away suddenly from an aneurysm. Even though we hadn’t been close since I was young and he moved, it devastated me, he was so awesome and he never even got to meet my son :( I’m not religious by any means but I like to believe that he’s somewhere rockin’ out w some of the legends now ❤️
