This song is my newest obsession. Grew up at age 5. Wore a fake smile my whole life. When people thought I was the happiest was when I was closest to my own death. Started to find myself in college but put it aside to list others up and I started to loose myself again. 4 years ago my disability showed up. Not to mention everything else on my mind, being treated like less bc of my wheelchair, friends abandoning me. But I smiled. 4 years and 1 abusive relationship later I’m DONT PRETENDING. Jesus wept, so I can too! I’m the happiest I’ve ever been in my life. But now I quit pretending when I’m not ok. Tbh this app has really helped me open up. Even if just to strangers on the internet
