album reviews albums reviews Detour by Kim Petras - I think if trans women made all the music ever the world would be a better place. more and more electro pop for this year, very bratty, some songs do sound so much like Charli, very sleazy and abrasive but that’s the sound of the times. Loved the frost children produced one that was a banger, got slightly repetitive but also a very fun piece. The indie sleaze genre has truly been revived. Role Model Hermit by mary in the junkyard - a really beautiful record, balances that line between melodic and whimsical folk with a more raw indie rock sound, very artsy and overall a really nice listen. Didn’t realise they were doing a record store tour and were in liverpool two days ago but we can ignore that!
