I saw a post today that said, "The year 2023 has been really tough for me, so I found solace in religion." I quickly admit to myself that I do know what that feels like. Meanwhile, the comments really brought me down. "It was really terrible that I ended up going to church and just quietly sat in the back row without uttering a single word." "I was crying while driving, so I decided to search for the nearest church on the internet.” "MAY I JUST SIT INSIDE THE CHURCH😭" idk why, but I often reflect on how adept we are at masking our genuine selves behind a facade, only to find that we've lost touch with who we really are.
