I picked this up the other day, and this is a great folk album from four Black women in folk and bluegrass that came together to create a supergroup, so to speak. This is a poignant album that’s about the experiences of being a woman of color in today’s world, but they also relate and adapt songs from the days of the Civil War. it’s like of an intense listen at times, but a really good one, nonetheless
