Last night I went to the Moose lodge my aunt Lindy bartends at, got tipsy & vibed w one of her regulars, a 62 y/o woman who enjoys Bloody Marys w Old Bay & prefers to listen to 90s/2000s party songs. Never in my life did I think I’d be singing & dancing along to this song w someone barely younger than my grandma 😅 one of the other songs she put on was We Can’t Stop, while I was singing “it’s our party we can do what we want, kiss who we want” etc she was yelling “THAT’S RIGHT” 😭😭 a new core memory has been made. I hope I get to see her again someday
