#mallonspiritweek - day six! I can’t even remember what I did last week never mind my earliest memory of music. I’ll continue with my other post where I talked about my dad playing music all the time and the specials were a big part of that as well. when Terry Hall died it was like a national day of mourning for the household. but also Happy by Pharrell Williams is a funny memory, this definitely wouldn’t be the earliest but when my Mum used to drive me to school when I was just a little boy, a wee lad if you will, if this song came on the radio she’d always turn it up and say this was her fav song, and she’d do a little car dance whilst driving. so everytime it came on, on the way to school we’d do a little glance at each other and I’d be like ‘Mum it’s your favourite song!’ it’s funny because we were talking about it the other day when she was driving my from the train station, no more than 10 mins later did Happy by Pharrell Williams start playing in the car… spooky!
