my first big crochet project that started out as a summer top and then turned into a summer bag is finally finished and done with !!!
i really pushed myself these past 3 weeks of nonstop crocheting and i’m super duper proud of myself for being consistent with it and not giving up !!! but really all the credit goes to God, He gave me the patience and understanding to do all of this.
this process was so tedious to say the least but that makes it all the more rewarding. also thank you to the ppl that have sent me all the insight, little tips, encouragement and loveee !!! 🤍

i just finished watching s4 of virgin river and guys it was so good. 🥹
it’s such a top tier comfort show for me. it’s the most nonchalant yet plot filled show i’ve ever watched. they fully immerse you in this quaint little town and you feel like you’re tagging along with all of the characters in their daily lives. ahhh so good !!!
also let me just geek out over the music real quick. the soundtrack every season fits the scenery of the show perfectly, it amplifies the watch experience to a whole another level. that alone is a valid reason to watch the show if you haven’t already.
now if you’ll excuse me, i’m going to rewatch this season over and over bc my hearts not ready to say goodbye to virgin river and have to wait another year for season 5. ⛺️🦅⛰🪵🧳☕️🕯🕰

the whole month of december is difficult for me. there’s so much celebration going on around me but all i can think of is my dad. my birthday (december 17th), christmas, and new year’s are all spent with a fake smile infront of others and when i’m finally alone, that’s when the mental/emotional breakdown creeps up on me.
it’s crazy because this one lyric in the song says “maybe i can make it to at least new year’s eve till i fall on my knees”
my dad passed away on new year’s eve and this year will make 4 years since he’s been gone. i love and miss him just the same, if not more. this feeling never goes away (for me atleast), grieving someone you cared about so deeply stays with you for the rest of your life.
so my words for you guys are, if your loved ones are still with you, cherish them (especially this holiday season).
happy mother’s day to my one of a kind mama. i love her with my whole heart and i’m over the moon thankful for her. she’s the most selfless person i know and also the funniest. but i gotta say, my favorite thing about her is her love for Jesus. 🤍
ever since my dad died, she has been my rock and has been completely available in which ever way i have needed. if i’m being honest, she’s the only person i can truly rely on.
God has blessed me immensely and i’m forever grateful for it. love you mama. 🥹
