went over to Half Price Books today and scored a solid haul; most of these were only $3.99 a piece, except for the Miles Davis album, but I’m a sucker for 1950s hard bop, and this album features a young Sonny Rollins. where he just passes away, it’s the perfect time to get it

keep forgetting to post but have some Chicago blues (that’s my current fixation but I just love the blues)
rainy morning
world’s best cup of coffee
Got nowhere to live for uni 😃
sorry I forgot to post at all yesterday; I usually post the morning before work, but I got to work late due to there being a wreck and on the highway, and when I got home, I was too tired to remember, lol
it’s crazy that songs recorded in the 1930s can still hold up almost 100 years later; this whole album rules, though, and Robert Johnson is one of my favorite artists
Here are some more great songs from my Roaring 20s playlist. 1. 'Tain't Nobody's Bizness If I Do by Bessie Smith (1922) 2. St. Louis Blues by Paul Whiteman (1926) 3. James Alley Blues by Richard “Rabbit” Brown (1927) #1920smusic
