I normally don’t do the whole “New Year Resolutions” thing, but this year I really want to try improving aspects of my life I’ve let slip away. Grief has stolen so much of myself from me, and now I’m going to get those pieces of myself back. Theres also some general areas of my life I need to improve on and stop being lazy about. I’m setting small goalposts up.
-Finally get comfortable driving to & from the store/places in town (I have my license but I had a true fear of driving)
-Get back into my hobbies (art, music, writing)
-Start therapy
-Workout more
I know these goals won’t be easy, but I also know it just takes time, patience and a lot of effort to get to these goals. I just gotta stop being lazy and afraid to change myself for the better.

One of my friends asked to “take a pause” in her relationship with the guy she’d been seeing last night cuz he wouldn’t stop double texting & within 15min he had blocked her & posted an edit of this song to his story saying “better luck next time” 💀💀💀 also his last text to her said “take care, FRIEND”. boy 😭 not surprised tho, 3 weeks jnto dating they had a disagreement (not even a fight) & his reaction was to leave, drink half a bottle of henny, wander into a random concert by himself, & then send a text to her about all that saying “look what you made me do”
also not to clown on anyone’s art as a former art teacher, but he was an artist who made really tacky/childish art despite being in his 30s (examples in comments)
