day 3 of #fallingintospiritweek - a song that makes you nostalgic for a past fall this album came out my very first semester of college and it was my first non re-recorded album release as a swiftie. i also vividly remember emailing my professors to say i was sick and wouldn’t be in class so i could stay home the first day of the eras tour presale. on the second day of presale i took a spanish midterm then raced home so i could be on my laptop for the capital one presale. so basically this swiftie shit is for life lmfao

as a Folklorian, Evermore by descent, based on Reputation, The Life of a Showgirl baffles me. Maybe because it was deemed so promising from its announcement. I guess that’s the message of The Life of a Showgirl: it sets your expectations so high… people make up their minds about how they perceive you, and momentarily forget how you were once valued for the depth you shared. FUCK THOSE MISERABLE PPL WHO WANT A DIVORCE ALBUM THO, NO CUT-OFFS ON HELL FOR YOU. Anyways Midnights is like the Ethnicity I wish I was born with but it’s just not in my DNA 😔
